LE FUTUR
The future tense of regular verbs is formed by adding to the infinitive the endings -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont.
NOTE: The final e of infinitive verbs ending in -re is dropped before the endings are added.
Verbs with Spelling Changes
1) Verbs that end in yer in the infinitive, such as essayer. The yer becomes ier before adding the future ending.Example: essayer (to try)
J'essaierai Nous essaierons
Tu essaieras Vous essaierez
Il/elle essaiera Ils/elles essaieront
NOTE: The verb payer can be conjugated with y (je payerai) or with i (je paierai).
2) In the future, the verbs jeter and appeler double the consonant that precedes the ending and the verb acheter has an accent grave on the first e.

FUTURE TENSE - quand, des que, tant que
The future tense is used after these conjunctions, whereas in English the present tense would be used after the corresponding expressions.
Quand & Lorsque mean "when"
